Our Craftroom

If this blog is going to be about our Craftroom Creations, I suppose it would be appropriate to take you on a tour of our craftroom. This is truly a work in progress since I took over our daughter's room a year or so ago. This is a view from the just inside the entrance door. I have a series of bookcases, which I took from my office and moved into this room. That is a Scraprack on top of two of the shorter bookcases. Much of my craftroom's decor comes from Walmart, especially when it comes to appropriating Sterilite stacking drawers, etc. I have two six-foot tables (very old) back to back which can accommidate up to five people. That's two on each side and one on the window seat end. I'll be bringing up chair cushions to make the window seat usable. The third seating section comes from two smaller tables which will each accommodate one which means we can seat seven people in the main room. This second photos shows the room from the bookshelf end. You may notice an entry beside the open hallway door. That houses my workstation and a variety of supplies. Yes, I must admit, you can now call me a closet scrapbooker and cardmaker. The far shelf holds a variety of rubber and acrylic stamps from multiple companies. Most, however, come from Close to My Heart. My workstation, which is in the walk-in closet, has even more Sterilite drawers along with my laptop and various equipment. All in all, this is a process that is barely begun. I am excited about the promise of the future and how it will all fit together to help others enjoy the creative art of scrapbooking. Oh! In case you're wondering about the cookie dough tubs you see around the table, this is what you use for trash cans! One of these days I might find the time to decorate them, but for now they work just fine. So now that you've seen our craftroom, I hope you'll get as excited about our craftroom creations as I am.
Happy Scrapping for now.
Bye
Di
